Melanie Fiona

Melanie Fiona, born Melanie Fiona Hallim on July 4, 1983, is an R&B singer from Toronto, Canada.  She took the music industry by storm in 2010 with her debut single called “It Kills Me”.  The hit song spent nine weeks at number one on the Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop charts, as well as receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.  Melanie Fiona was also chosen to be the 2009/2010 model for Rocawear clothing and to participate in BET’s Music Matter tour.  She has released a new single called Gone and Never Coming Back and is currently working on her new album, The MF Life, which is due later this year.
