African American Museum in Philadelphia

Will present history in the present with Noah Lewis (portraying Ned Hector, Free Black Colonial Soldier, Wagoneer, Patriot, Hero), arts & crafts and features the Drum Circle with Peace of Music.

Crayola Factory

Will create diverse hand puppets for children using brown paper bags, Crayola products, and a variety of art materials. In addition, they can decorate Dora the Explorer coloring sheets.

Grupo Fuego

Will provide interactive salsa dance instructions that promises to entertain each generation.

 Kala JoJo "The Tall Storyteller" (sponsored by The Mann Center for the Performing Arts)

Kala JoJo is a folklorist, educator, and musician who will weave African stories into cultural diversity, healing, and side-splitting humor.

Lest We Forget Slave Memorabilia Exhibition

Will showcase and display slavery artifacts, Jim Crow objects, and other related items for a complete look back into this period of American history.

Historic Philadelphia, Inc.

Will feature colonial characters “history makers” in their colonial costumes and speak about thier importance within this time period.

Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA)

Will feature an arts & crafts table where children can create South American stuffed paper animals and fluttering butterflies.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Will feature an arts & crafts table where families can create their own animal inspired bookmarks related to the Museum’s collection.

The Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels

Will allow kids the experience to discover the excitement of the Philadelphia Zoo! Traveling naturalists will be on hand with live animals, artifacts and our traveling endangered species statue made of 4,000 LEGO bricks!

Remix Theatre

Bringing routines and instruction from professionally trained dancers to teach children, in an interactive session, the basics of Hip-Hop and provide dance instructions.
