Brenda K. Starr
Brenda K. Starr is a successful salsa singer born to a Jewish American father and a Puerto Rican mother. She originally began her career as a dance-pop star and gained success for her self-titled major label debut. Years later Brenda K. Starr reinvented herself as a latin salsa star which rejuvenated her career with many successful albums. To date, she has received two Latin Grammy Awards Nominations for Best Salsa Album and Best Salsa Single and a Billboard Latin Music Awards Nomination for Best Salsa Single.
